Problem Statement

IDSA, the Industrial Design Society of America, was founded many years ago and continues to make an impact. The IDSA design foundation was created at the same time to provide more assistance to students. However, the related services and activities are not well known by many students, so how to strengthen IDSA's brand, especially the Design Foundation, and build a bridge between the association and students at once is the main question of this project.

Possible Sulution

IDSA has been around for years, but its Design Foundation has not been as influential as it should be

Is it possible to provide more services through the design foundation and an app can be designed to help match students and related organizations.

Is it possible to attract more people through a re-branding.

Audience Relationship

The IDSA offers services and support to help students learn industrial design and create a design community. Designers donate money to the IDSA Design Foundation, which is used to organize events and recognize outstanding students in the field.

Interview

We interviewed two dedicated stakeholders associated with the IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America). The purpose of these interviews was to gain a deeper understanding of their perspectives and sentiments towards the current operations of both the IDSA and the Design Foundation. Our primary objective was to gather substantial information and data that would enable us to construct an empathy map that accurately reflects the outcomes of these interviews. By doing so, we aim to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded representation of the stakeholders' thoughts and emotions surrounding these organizations' functioning.
